Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. The comedian has been on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea started her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011, following small parts she played for Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. From 2012 on, Bea was appearing in sitcoms and sketch comedy. In 2012, she began appearing on panel shows after winning an award from The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Her surname is Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh is an Kildare born girl. She was born in March 16, 1984. Bea's father Brian died when he was just three years old. He was a horse veterinary. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing before she reached the age of 13. The stage name Bea is a tribute to her father. Bea published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience dealing with suicide. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) was raised within the home of Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. The family was in love with horses and race meetings. In her youth Bea worked as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she realized at an early age that she was not attracted to the race industry for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
