Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Alexandra was engaged in numerous important projects both locally and internationally. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
